Demand for outboard engines remained steady in 2022 as unit sales surpassed 300,000 for the third consecutive year, reaching 305,900 units.

Further insights from the Outboard Engine Sales Trends report include:

• Outboard Engines had a record-breaking $3.6B in sales in 2022.
• Compared to 2021, unit sales for outboard engines declined 0.6%.
• On a year-over-year comparison, unit sales for the 300hp and greater segment increased 6.1% in 2022.
