Wisconsin DNR solicits resident input on rec opportunities

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource (DNR) and Wisconsin Conservation Congress (WCC) is seeking public input on a variety of natural resource and outdoor recreation-related questions and proposed rule changes. The survey closes on Thursday, April 13.

All Wisconsin residents and outdoor recreationalists are encouraged to carefully consider each of the questions posed by the DNR and WCC and submit responses to the survey. Results will then be used to inform DNR leadership and statewide elected officials on what constituents believe state agencies and policymakers should do to protect state waterways, access and outdoor recreation opportunities.

This year’s questionnaire includes questions related to boating access and towed watersports and key policy priority areas for the recreational boating and fishing industry.

The questionnaire may be accessed here.
