2025 MFA Conference Registration Now Open
Registration is open, and the full conference schedule is available for the annual Marine Fabricators Conference being held Jan. 9–11, 2025, at the Omni Corpus Christi Hotel in Corpus Christi, Texas.
The conference features three full days of education and networking designed to help marine fabricators cultivate industry connections, improve their efficiency and increase revenue. This year, the conference will include a five-hour pre-show technical workshop on Jan. 8 on “Bimini Basics, Frame Bending and Carpet Patterning for Beginners.” This workshop will be taught by David and Barbara Huntington, River Custom Canvas LLC, and attendance is extremely limited.
Education sessions will be plentiful and wide-ranging with an increased focus on hands-on learning that includes the Scissors and Thread Shed—a workshop space stocked with equipment and materials where attendees can share fabrication techniques and approaches. Additional education topics include best practices for business organization and growth, roundtable discussions, scissors and shears smarts, transitioning a traditional shop to digital processes, a Showoff Showcase featuring different approaches to upholstery projects and much more.
The Fabricator Olympics are back with great prizes and bragging rights for the winners. And attendees will have numerous opportunities to connect with fellow fabricators and suppliers including the exhibit show floor, new attendee meetups, the off-site opening night cartoon characters-themed Costume Party aboard the USS Lexington and the formal Closing Dinner and Awards event.
