H2O Shield is a PFAS- and PFOS-free water-resistant finish portfolio. The technology can be customized with four repellent options. WR1000 is best suited for overall water repellency in low-touch applications like tents and awnings. WR1001 is optimized for wicking performance in athletic and sweat-resistant apparel. WR1002 is formulated to address chalking defects and color shift issues on dark-hued fabrics prone to scratches. WR1003 helps prevent tearing in applications such as tents and backpacks. An optional pretreatment, WR-P, is available for fabrics that are traditionally difficult to treat. The finishes achieve results of 80 or over on the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) TM22 spray repellency test.
