Marine Fabricators Conference speaker proposals due May 1
The Marine Fabricators Association (MFA), a member group of Advanced Textiles Association (ATA), has put out a call requesting speaker proposals for the Marine Fabricators Conference. Submissions are due May 1.
The 2027 conference will be Jan. 7–9, 2027, in Nashville, Tenn., at the Embassy Suites Nashville. The conference features three full days of education and networking designed to help marine fabricators cultivate industry connections, improve efficiency and increase revenue.
The MFA education committee is accepting everything from lectures to hands-on demonstrations to panel discussions, on any new or unique topics. Submissions will be judged/selected by the committee based on a variety of factors, including:
- Is the topic unique/has it been presented recently?
- Is the topic applicable to the conference? Have attendees been requesting it?
- Is the presenter a fabricator?
- Is the presenter a member?
- Is the topic being presented in a hands-on fashion?
- Is the topic commercial?
“We’re excited to explore a mix of traditional, digital and business topics for the 2027 Marine Fabricators Conference,” says Christine Gerard, member programs supervisor at ATA. “We welcome ideas for sessions on accounting, sales techniques, T-tops, or any other hands-on and business-focused topics.”
Review results for speaker proposals will be sent June 1. Contact ATA show director Barbara Connett with any questions.
