The customer for this project, which won an Award of Excellence in the complete interior upholstery category of the 2008 MFA Awards, wanted to add color and style to the outdated interior of this 1996 Sea Ray. This was a standard recovery, including a quilted comforter, pillow shams and pleated drapes. The Nautical Needle had to repattern the side rails in the v-berth cabin because the original quilted fabric hid the folds. The fabric used was not quilted and therefore had to be repatterned.
