Boating returns to Capitol Hill

The 2012 American Boating Congress, the recreational boating industry’s legislative conference, returned to Capitol Hill in April to discuss with the country’s lawmakers key policy issues facing the boating industry.

With 165 in attendance, featured speakers at the two-day event addressed economic concerns and legislation, as well as provided insight on their impact on recreational boating.

Topics covered included ethanol, the Lacey Act and proposed closures at Biscayne National Park.
