Larson offers new pontoons

Little Falls, Minn.-based Larson Boat Group has launched a new line of pontoon boats, Escape by Larson. The difference starts at the “toons.” Traditional pontoons have round toons that plow through the water. The Larson Escape toons plane through the water. This is accomplished by an exclusive tapered tube technology. Constructed of heavy-duty aluminum, the individual pontoons are welded together to create a running surface similar to that of a small runabout—reverse chines for lift, dead rise for stability, outside hull chamfer for smooth cornering. The pontoon is designed with a 30-inch-wide top cap span to create a solid deck mounting surface resulting in eliminating the need for secondary bracing. The Larson Escape comes in three models: 21-, 23- and 25-foot lengths in both twin and triple tube configurations.
