Stephen Eberle, Canvasworks Inc., Kennebunk, Maine, achieved Certified for Life Master Fabrics Craftsman (MFC) in Marine in March 2018. This certification recognizes Eberle’s superior knowledge of business and organizational management in the specialty fabrics industry.

Eberle has been an IFAI member for 24 years and served on the IFAI Marine Fabricator Association Advisory Board from 2008 to 2011. He also won the 2016 MFA Award of Excellence in the Tops & Enclosures 30 foot & Over category.

As a member of a select group of certified professionals, Eberle has gained experience through continued professional development, contributed to the advancement of specialty fabric products and supported the IFAI Code of Ethics, reflecting ethical business leadership and management practices.

To become professionally certified through IFAI, individuals participate in rigorous, in-depth testing, including oral and written exams that assess knowledge of managing a specialty fabric business.
