The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is seeking applications for two-year term positions on the Fisheries Oversight Committee (FOC) and Wildlife Oversight Committee (WOC) for the Game and Fish Fund. Applications must be submitted online by September 30.

The responsibility of these committees is to review and make recommendations on how the DNR spends funds from the Game and Fish Fund in a joint annual report. The Game and Fish Fund holds revenues generated from the sale of hunting and fishing licenses, sales tax on lottery tickets, and other sources of funding, which include a reimbursement based on the federal excise tax on certain hunting, fishing and boating equipment.

In order to apply, applicants must apply online by September 30, be a Minnesota resident and must have purchased at least one of the personal or commercial Minnesota licenses for hunting, fishing, or trapping since January 1, 2019. Applications and additional information regarding the committee can be found here.
