Jim Newman has joined Miami Corp. as its regional sales representative. Newman brings 22-plus years of experience working in the awning and marine industries. Prior to joining Miami Corp., Newman handled sales, customer service and general technical support for fabricators throughout the northeast region, and he has also been an active member of several trade organizations over the years, including the North East Canvas Products Association and Advanced Textiles Association.

“Over the years, Jim has proven to be a key resource for the industries he serves and has developed close relationships with most canvas fabricators in the New England region, said John Tavano, VP of sales for Miami Corporation in a news release. “We look forward to him bringing this added insight and expertise to Miami Corp. as he works to expand our reach in this territory as the regional sales representative.”
