The Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) is hosting a free webinar on Dec. 15, 2020, for IFAI members ($39 for non-members) discussing software specifically designed for marine fabricators. As the marine textile industry converts to mostly digital processes, this webinar will discuss software that can dramatically speed up the development of accurate 3D models and the associated 2D fabric patterns required to manufacture marine textile projects.

Webinar speaker Timothy Akes, MPanel Software Solutions LLC, will demonstrate software tools for optimizing digitally-captured shapes of boats and their accessories, how to build 3D computer models of projects for client visualization and approval, and how to efficiently convert 3D models into accurate, flat patterns ready for cutting and production.
