Redesigned exterior creates nice visual flow
Enewhere Custom Canvas, Brooklyn, N.Y.
This project, which won an Outstanding Achievement Award in the exterior upholstery category of the 2009 MFA Awards, called for a complete redesign and rebuild of the exterior upholstery for a 38-foot Fountain. This was an extensive project. It involved rebuilding the helm seats, side panels, aft bench and aft back rest, and creating new removable cushions for the aft sun deck that wrapped around newly installed engine cowls. All was rebuilt in rot-free PVC foamboard. Evadri reticulated foam was used throughout, with drainage provided. Three color matching stripes were designed to create a nice visual flow throughout the boat. Red matching carpet was installed.
