New events at Advanced Textiles Expo 2024

Advanced Textiles Association® (ATA) announces the addition of multiple new events for this year’s Advanced Textiles Expo® Sept. 24–26 in Anaheim, Calif.

These events include:

  • Women’s Networking Walk on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 7 am

This is an opportunity for women in the industry to connect before the show floor opens. Participants meet at the Hilton Anaheim.

  • Women’s Leadership Empowerment Session: Balancing Priorities for Success on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 9:30 am

This session kicks off with a keynote address by a distinguished industry leader followed by a panel discussion featuring accomplished industry leaders who will share their experiences, challenges and strategies for success. It will include a development session focused on setting boundaries and priorities.

  • Next-Gen Networking on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 10 am

This event will include a hands-on LEGO networking workshop designed to deepen understanding of industry dynamics while fostering new connections. Participants will collaborate in teams to construct LEGO models that represent key elements of the industry.

  • Test Your Skills on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at Noon

ATA’s Textiles Challenge is a hands-on activity to test participant skills in various textile challenges.

  • Student Presentations on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 10:30 am

ATA’s Student Research Fest highlights emerging tech research taking place at colleges, universities and technical schools.
